Zach Tarpagos, Greek National Opera Flutist
Zach is permanent flutist at the Greek National Opera. His activity includes appearances as a soloist in prestigious concert venues around the world such as Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Boston Symphony Hall, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Onassis Foundation Concert Hall, Stavros Niarchos Hall. Associate of the orchestra Armonia Atenea/Camerata Music Orchestra, has recorded with period baroque and classical instruments in Deutsche Grammophone and Decca Classics and has appeared in international festivals such as the BBC Proms in London, the Salzburg Festival in Austria, Bayreuth Festival etc. His activity in chamber music brought him to different parts of the world including the Blue Rose Room at Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Zach organizes and supports stable music education platforms for children who live in extreme conditions of poverty, social discrimination and great unfavourable conditions in Greece and abroad aiming at quality improvement of their lives through music education and interaction.
Zach communicates in Greek & English.
He loves Reading, Exploring, Creating and Expanding Different Music Educational Systems Using Neuroscience Developmental Principles for non city centre communities application.
